Sippin’ in Seersucker 2011!

Sippin’ in Seersucker, an evening filled with seersucker outfits ranging from stuffy to outrageous, returned to Canal Place on May 20, 2011.  The event featured food from a number of local restaurants, including Delachaise, Link Restaurant Group, Mahoney’s (our favorite po-boy joint!), La Petit Grocery, Stein’s, Vegas Tapas Cafe, Zea, WINO, and others.   Preservation Jazz Hall and DJ Soul Sister provided the music and G4 provided much of the dancing.  The energy level of the music was down slightly from last year (when Big Freedia rocked the stage), but the event was great overall and we’ll be back in 2012.  In the meantime, mark your calendars for 2012 and check out some photos from the event:
